No. mate products are dietary supplements, not drugs, so there's no prescription or doctor's visit needed to order. If you take medication or have a medical condition, check with your doctor before starting any new supplement.

Follow the directions on the label. They differ by formula: most are taken daily, while mate climax, for example, is taken 5 days on, 2 days off. Consistency matters more than timing, so pick a time of day you'll stick with.

Results vary from person to person. Many men notice a difference within the first few weeks of daily use, but these are natural formulas that work with your body over time, so give it a minimum of 3 months, and ideally 6 months, for best results.

In a 12-week, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 68 men with premature ejaculation, published in the Open Journal of Urology (2020), the average score on the Premature Ejaculation Diagnostic Tool (PEDT) dropped from 18 to 10 in the mate endurance group, vs. 17 to 15 on placebo. Participants also reported significant improvements in sexual satisfaction and distress compared with placebo.

The mate endurance study measured how men felt about their control, satisfaction and distress rather than stopwatch times, so we don't promise a specific number of minutes. What changed most for participants was the score doctors use to assess premature ejaculation.
